The Catholic Bible Society of Nigeria (CBSN) of Okigwe Diocese, came first in a National Bible Quiz which took place during a CBSN national program that held in Enugu from Wednesday, October 26, 2022 to Saturday, October 29, 2022. The CBSN Okigwe Chapter, led by the diocesan Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Anthony Eziefule, was represented at the quiz by Alokam Thaddeus Chigozie (16 years from St. Theresa’s Osuachara); Ohaekelem Catherine Chidimma (18 years from St. Mary’s Okigwe); Ndubueze Emmanuella Ugochi (15 years from St. Mary’s Okigwe) and Michael Blessing Chioma (17 years from St. Mary’s Okigwe). The Okigwe Diocesan squad competed against others from Onitsha, Owerri, Enugu, Warri, Aba, Jalingo, Nnewi and Orlu. To the surprise of all Okigwe Diocese was the best (1^st position) followed by Nnewi (2^nd position), and Orlu (3^rd position).
